ARRIVAL BAGDOGRA (IXB) - PHUENTSHOLING
Pick up from Bagdogra (IXB) Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing (165 Kms, 03 to 04 Hrs) Meet & Greet upon arrival at Phuentsholing (298Mts / 977Fts). Depending on your arrival time our Trip Leader will assist you in procurement of your permit to Bhutan. The permit issuance takes time depending on the rush one has to stand in queue for procurement of permit. In case the permit is not processed on the day of arrival then it can be issued next day before you start for next destination. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU
After breakfast and after completing your Visa / Permit formalities assisted by our Bhutan representative who will assist you in boarding your vehicle for transfer to Thimphu (2320Mts / 7656Fts, 180 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs). Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
THIMPHU
After breakfast, visit Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong),Changangkha Lhakhang (Monastery), Motithang Takin Preservation Centre presently closed for tourist, Drupthob Goemba / Zilukha Nunnery, National Library (Closed on Saturday , Sunday & National Holiday), Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School-Closed on Saturday , Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum (Handicrafts Shops - Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery). Overnight stay at the Hotel.
THIMPHU – PUNAKHA / WANGDI
After breakfast, drive to Punakha (1200Mts / 3936Fts, 77 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs) / Wangdi (Wangdiphodrang) (1350Mts / 4430Fts, 70 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs). Punakha / Wangdi is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. Visit Punakha Dzong, If time permit visit the Suspension Bridge and then proceed to Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery). Overnight at the Hotel.
PUNAKHA / WANGDI
After breakfast, full day excursion to Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley (3000Mts / 9845fts , 85Kms / 3 to 3½ Hrs One way ) The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan. At Gangtey visit Black Necked Crane Information Centre , Gangtey Goempa (Monastery). Overnight stay at the Hotel.
PUNAKHA / WANGDI – PARO
After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro (2134Mts / 7000Fts, 135 Kms / 05 Hrs). En route visit to Royal Botanical Garden. Check in to the hotel and relaxed. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
PARO
After breakfast, visit Drukgyel Dzong presently closed for tourist, Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang (Monastery), Back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
PARO – PHUNTSHOLING
After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and drive to Phuntsholing (298Mts / 977Fts, 176 Kms / 07 Hrs).Check in to the hotel and relaxed. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
PHUNTSHOLING - BAGDOGRA DEPARTURE
After breakfast, Check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra (IXB) Airport (165 Kms/ 04 Hrs) to catch your flights back to home. Our tour services will end here but sweet memories of tour will remain forever in your heart.
